Yes, already expansion of Chickenville is being mentioned. "Why don't we just extend the run - to here maybe?", "Could we keep bantams if we built a run with that old kennel?" You lot warned me about this equation that syas that chicken population will expand in direct proprtion to the available "garden" So... right now the coop is and the run is 100 sq ft and the coop/shed is 80sq ft (ish - I hope I converted right from metres!) and has 5 hens and a rooster, if extended we'd have about 200 sq ft of run - according to the 1sq ft indoors, 2 sq ft outdoors per chook "rule" that'd be more than enough space, right? Also, will 3 bantams hens with a 12ft sq coop and a 24ft sq run be ok space wise? (Ps.
