Just a quickie - I've bought some 'Purple Spray' at the animal centre. They assure me it is Gentian Violet but it's now called purple spray. Just checking this is correct? The label says "Gold label purple spray. Contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.05% - A skin disinfectant effective against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Apply sparingly as required. Patch test for sensitivity before use". Hope that's right! I made a point of buying those disposable gloves from ebay 100 to a packet so that anything dirty I would be prepared, from poo collecting to any other job that could be a little messy. One of my better purchases I think ~ my daughter thought so too, I gave her a box!
