Do you think size makes a difference.-No rude remarks please -.
I wonder what size Andrews chook is.-this is all sounding terrible, or is it just my dirty mind
Fred is tiny, no bigger than a dove and the smallest chook here. |

The Cockeral is a large bird much bigger than the Marans or Sussex. The "attacked" bird I have no idea as to its race, but it is also a big bird probably the largest in the coop!
The problem seemed to disappear for a couple of days, but for the last day or so I keep seeing the poor old girl back in the coop, when I go to check for eggs.
As one of my neighbours have said they do not want the cockeral crowing in the early morning, he is likely to be coq au vin sooner rather than later, I'm just worried the cockeral is keeping them all in line and mayhem will rein when the hens take over the coop.
Thanks for the ideas,
Andy |
