Got to pop into town to get a couple of carirers then come back and start bathing birds ready for Sunday's show. I am not going to do things the way I was shown with several buckets of water for rinsing and the like. I'm going to stand the birds in the bath and use the hand shower like I would with a dog. Heck I couldn't even fit'Fudge' the cochin cockerel into a flipping bucket!
Lucky old me having one of those old fashioned downstairs bathrooms near the back door . You know the ones all those telly programmes tell you are so unpopular.
For my lifestyle with bathing animals washing brooders etc etc the bathroom near the back door is ideal. Anyway I'm off, see you later when I've finished. |

We have one of those downstairs bathrooms too, but we don't have a bath so I just bath the chooks in the kitchen sink ( I do disinfect it afterwards ! ) |

Hmmm now why didn't I think of that ?
It's difficult enough doing that with my godsons chickens would be much harder !! but at least they wouldn't be crying and saying argh soap stings eyes - before you had even looked at the shampoo bottle !!! |

| It took me a whole hour to do Fudge and my back hurts so I never did any more. I'll have to knuckle down tomorrow and do more. |
