| From reading posts on here it's clearn that 16guage weldmesh is what most folk recommend as the best option for fencing - but it exceedingly expensve!! Are there any alternatives we can use without putting chickens at risk? |

| over here there is avairy wire netting same small holes but not so stout maybe you could research thar over there.....mojo |

19g Mesh is a lot cheaper. There are some great sites online where you can get it very good prices.

| They were certasinly cheapish but with massive 2 inch holes not practical at all for poultry housing. |

| We went with the 16 guage weldmesh and got 30m rolls from Birketts (online) for £70 delivered and inc vat which was the best price by far that I was quoted. |

This isn't actually weldmesh either, more like normal chicken wire. And yes fenwoman, I agree, the holes are much too big!  |
