I am at a loss with one of the ladies. I posted about her a while ago, being possibly constipated - but she is no better and has new problems. I shall begin with her various aliments!

She sits around on her own, all fluffed up and mostly with her tail pointing right into the sky.

She is not laying (I thought she had laid an egg a while ago, but I really don't think it was her at all).

She has quite yellow looking legs.

She has swollen feet.

She is losing the feathers from round her vent and the back of her neck and she looks awful.

She is not being bullied or pecked and is eating and drinking normally, but she feels quite thin.

So, any ideas? I am really baffled and I hate to see her look so miserable. She's not in pain (seemingly) and does race over when I go out with treats which is good. I just don't know what to do about her. Sad

I'm sorry you have a poorly girl, but more sorry that I have no idea what is wrong with her, or what to suggest.
Hopefully someone with more expertise will be along soon to help

first thing ..seperate her.from the flock..........place in a small comfortable box.............check she is eating and how much ..........are you sure she is not having a bad moult..........give ACV as a tonic at 2%.........check for insect attackin bald areas ...feel legs and toes ........no scaley or bumble foot............often a little vasaline if they are dry and raspy helps.......

Thamks - I have checked her for creepy crawlies and she is free from anything visible with the naked eye. I did wonder about her just moulting but the odd behaviour has been going on for ages and now with the yellow legs and swollen feet........

Her legs are still smooth - no scaley bits sticking up, but I will endeavour to seperate her.
