She told me that her and her husband had been watching a creature in their garden it was Quote: not a dog, cat or fox, like a ferret or polecat but larger and dark brown My first thought was mink, but we're well away from watercourses and well outside any areas that mink have naturalised. Thinking about it now. I can only think it was a fox cub that had strayed from the copse that stands between their house and my plot. Anyone any other ideas? and suggestions as to how to protect my flock. Both houses closed at night and runs locked. I still have my suspicions it was a fox cub. I'll put my trust in the electric fence.
