We have some Middle White weaners coming in two weeks - I have always wanted some of them but couldn't (until now) find any close enough to here. So have spent the last two days re-enforcing the pig pen and sorting out the electric fencing for them. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

The three coming are for pork with the possibility that if it is as good as it should be we can buy a couple to breed from in the autumn.

We find that naming them as meat helps keep the distinction between food and pets for our son and his friends - also if we don't call them something they tend to name then anyway and it is much harder to kill molly then sausage!
