I had a shock today when i went down to check the girls at lunch time, 3 lovely brown eggs weighing between 62 -69 g each, and a massive blue egg weighing a painful 109g and measuring over 3 inches i bet that took some laying she has been laying about 3-4 a week but more the size of the other girls, i wonder if it will be a double yolk-er bless her she will have to have an extra special tea tonight

That has been days of brain storming trying to get the pic's on here, not very good with technical stuff .Seems a shame to crack it, but i think i may have it for my lunch tomorrow. I am lucky with my girls they all lay good size eggs, but the lid won't shut on the egg box i am just so pleased i got the pic's on at last, did you see the weight |

Well don't forget to take a pic of that too!!!
I couldn't quite read the weight - but I think you said it was a massive 109 grammes???? My sums might be a bit off but isn't that over 4 oz????
Stephen?? Is there any chance of getting all the big egg pics together on one thread??? |
