Does anyone use them?
And if so where is the cheapest place to get them from?
I am considering using them for two reasons.
1 to act as like a dog collar and have a postcode/address on them and two - to help identify related birds.

Any experience or comments greatfully appreciated.

Thoroughly useful things - for so many reasons. Like Mojo says, they help you keep track of who's who for breeding purposes - and also for innoculation or medication purposes, and of course in a larger flock of identical same-breeds, they help you keep track of how old or productive anyone is. Again, useful for breeding or stock maintenance.

As for getting hold of them, most local country stores sell them, and they cost pennies, so I wouldn't tend to waste too much time shopping around for them!

First spotted them on Ebay - hence me asking the questions. Didn't know if the ebay ones were about the right price or not.
Thanks for all you replies!

ebay leg rings a rather expensive. try selwayfeeders.co.uk. they don't charge postage, its next day delivery and about £4 per 100 depending on size. they also let you choose a mixture of colours e.g. 2 red, 15 blue or 26 green the choice is endless!!!!
