|
|
We're having a fantastic start to the new year.
Someone has broken into our shed and ripped out the electric fence energiser and taken it. Nothing else in the shed was taken, just that. We had a heart stopping moment when we thought they'd got one of the chickens, but they seem ok. For the moment.
We've now got to try and find a new electric fence energiser, that'll run off car batteries not mains, on a New Year bank holiday sunday and monday.
Fat chance.

At least all your chooks were safe from the break in... that's good news so far, and fingers firmly crossed it'll stay that way too.
Best of luck with finding what you need ASAP. |

What a grand start to the year! The b******s obviously knew what they were after. Glad your chickens are OK though. You'll have to be extra careful with them for the next few days until you get a new fence thingy sorted out. (camping anyone? )
Hopefully the people who took it will wire it up all wrong & electrocute themselves! (ooo, I am evil! )

| If you can't leave a dog in the shed I advise you to go to a DIY place and buy a shed door alarm. They are only one or two pounds and emit an earsplitting noise if the door is opened. |

Unfortunately where the chickens are kept - and allotment - there isn't anyone around in the middle of the night to hear it |
