Does anyone out there do card making? I started about a year ago and have done it in fits and starts when I have time ever since (not to mention space to spread out all my stuff). I mainly do rubber stamping and decoupage but I'll have a go at anything. I'll try and put some pics in my gallery.

I do - make most of my Christmas cards and most other cards I send. Use what I have at the time and what takes my fancy when I look in my craft drawers.

I do too usually. I get a real buzz from it. (I know - I get my kicks in strange ways Confused Razz ) But my stock is running a little low and I haven't had the chance to make any for months now. Getting withdrawal symptoms Sad

I have that urge to make some cards at the moment but I have no space and even less time Sad

I've put some pics in my gallery now Very Happy

Your cards are lovely Jooles!

I will have to dig out some pics and post them.

Cross stitch is where I started. I have loads of cross stitch pictures rolled up and stashed away in drawers because I never get around to framing them Rolling Eyes Then started doing cross stitch cards for family at christmas time, then discovered cardmaking and found a whole new drain on my bank account Shocked

Most definitely in your dreams George! (mine too actually!) You could sell them on the internet but at £2-£3 each for a couple of hours work (for some of them anyway) it'd take an awful long time make enough to retire, let along millions. Rolling Eyes Shame that. Sad

Can you imagine it - I could hold cardmaking lessons in the chicken run every afternoon, just before corn break. Decoupage, iris folding and rubber stamping, better keep them away from the heat gun though Shocked Very Happy

I always do homemade cards for people - nothing too elaborate though - just drawings! but people liked them so I got to thinking and now they're in my online shop (see website) and selling really well on my craft stall at hemswell!

You're right though, making stick on/cross stitch ones takes way too long. People love my cushions I make, i've sold out and they make a fair bit of profit too but just take so long! Even with a sewing machine...
