Im just amazed how small he is.....I knew Bantams were small, but surely not THAT small....there isnt even enough for a sandwich !
No Jaydee.....there is no way I could eat one of the babies Ive hatched.......he's in with his girlfiend & some silkies at the mo'......when i know what sex the silkies are then i have to make the decision who stays & who goes !!! Sad

Do u think a pekin cock, could live in peace with a Buff Orp Cock ??

The silkies were hatched in April and August and the Shetland (he's HUGE!) was hatched on the 28th June (by my son on his birthday - they were a day early!) last year.

Aw, how sweet, so pleased there won't be enought for a sandwich. Maybe one of mine will be a cockerel and I'll hear thte same one day.
I cannot imagine that he won't get on with another hen, specially if they've grown together?
Off to work.

That first little squeeky, crackly, crow just melts a heart! I can't wait to hear Little Rich do his.

Knobby, if you don't have any neighbors, why would you even think of putting him in the cooker? Sad

I think Mojo could be right, as you'll notice that birds imitate local sounds, I should imagine (or could imagine) that they imitate loacal dialect/language. I mean, everyone must have heard that Russian Cockerel, surely Confused
