Andalusians are very similar to the other Southern European breeds, like Ancona and Leghorn. They are relatively streamlined birds with large wattles and combs which need protecting from sub zero temperatures.
In hot countries, these wattles and combs help to keep the birds cool .
They may not be as laid back and docile as some other breeds but they are certainly beautiful and come mainly in blue but also black and splashed.

We'll try and take some pix from round here and see if people on here think they are andalucian.

They call all local chickens "andalucian" round here!
