Grow Your Own - First Impressions

I have to say I'm impressed. Poultry (including a review of housing), Livestock plus all the allotment/kitchen gardening you could want. It looks good. A more comprehensive review when I've read it cover to cover.

Hello everyone, just to let you all know that there is a new vegatable-growing magazine out called 'Grow your Own' which features chicken keeping too. Pretty basic stuff but still a joy to read and look at the pictures!!

Found and bought a copy of this new one yesterday. If you like "Kitchen Garden Mag" then its worth a look at "Grow Your Own" too...

Re Grow Your Own- I agree - I have only seen the first issue which I got from Waitrose (they still seem to only have the first issue though, which is a bit odd !) but I was suitably impressed . There was a comp to win a Eglu in the first issue but unfortunately I didn't see it until after the closing date Rolling Eyes The guy who wrote the chcken bit was one of the Omlet peeps - don't know if it is the same every time though ?!

It's the same guy in the edition I bought, I think he's a regular. Like the magazine, it's different but as good as Kitchen Gardener
