This young man is shaping up well for the Standard. Not of my breeding, but from a breeder who also tries to get Standard Cream Legbars
Some of the pullets are showing signs of improvement too.

The pictures of your CL pullets look good. They are quite a creamy pink in the breast and don't have that deep rusty colour of many poor CL nowadays. If they stay that colour, and I have no reason to suppose they wont, they will make good breeding stock. Thanks for posting the pictures - nice to see good birds. Regards Richard.

It would be nice to get some pictures of really good types, of the auto sexing breeds put in the Poultry standards, or should i say more pictures, as the Rhodebar and Wybar have been included in the 6th edition. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the Barnebar is, but that doesn't even feature in the standards book? I think they are very attractive birds.

It could provoke interest in less popular breeds, and give breeders a visual target to aim for?

I had some Barnebar, but beautiful as they were, they were not such good layers as the Welbars and Cream Legbars.Perhaps auntosexing breeders could get together to produce a book of photographs of birds that are Standard, or very close.

I'm quite tempted by Rhodebars since I saw the Hollygate website.
Not so sure about their CLBs though

Their CLBs definitely look a bit suspect, don't they?!!
