Went out to see the chickens just now and Dash's eye isn't like it normally is. The orange colour that it usually is has gone, and its like a misty green colour now. The pupil hsa gone tiny. His other eye is fine, just this 1. Is he going blind?

The eye which I think he has gone blind in.

He's 2 and a half years old if that helps.

Fangs, it looks like he has damaged his pupil somehow. I don't think it is myco....like I stated it could be on msn. You may need to take him into the vet...or just watch it for a few days. If it changes to cloudy or sort of irridecent in anyway....vet immediately. Sad

Well I shone a light in it as someone told me to do, and he didn't react to it. Did the same to the other eye and as it was bed time he pecked the torch. So it would appear he cannot see through it. He is perfecctly healthy apart form that though.

I dunno really. Eye is still the same today, but he is fine in himself, so I'm not worried bout him. If it does get worse I will take him to the vets though.

Fangs, on a technical note. Your camera should have a macro mode. The icon for it on my nikon is a flower. This allows the camera to focus on things alot closer up!

HTH, and good luck with Dash
