Hi...(there is a welcome thread in the general section for you)...you might want to try and do a google for hatcheries and then sift through the results for your area. Otherwise having a peek in the poultry mart would be a good idea. Most peeps are done hatching for the year, but you can look at the members who have posted in that area, see if they are near you and then work out some sort of agreement for spring.

hello and welcome to the forum. You could look in practical poultry magazine ~ they do a list of breeders in the back. Although as Deb says most have finished hatching for this year there will still be point of lay girls out there as well as younger ones.
What type are you interested in and how far would you be willing to travel? |

| thanks for the info will look into it... point of lay birds might be the best...am looking for some common hybrids or something along the buff orbington (spelling???)...as i heard they are fairly easy to keep...don't know how far am willing to travel... would like something preferably in London but realise this may be difficult.. |

| If you have a car then there are some in Hertfordshire and Cambs if you are interested, I can give you details etc if you want. They are easy to transport, travelled 2 hours to the New Forest for ours... no probs at all. |
