A chicken house of course Rolling Eyes

I've found a chap who can build me a house like this but with the house on legs so it's off the ground. Very Happy

Here's a couple of pics, what do you think?

I was going to have 3 full size chickens but having been to Woodside this morning, I might go for some smaller ones. Hmmm... have to look at some more before I decide. I've got two weeks before the house arrives.

Excellent Jooles, but you do realize, that this will be quickly turned into your brooder house or 'hospital' house, as you will upgrade sooner than later for a bigger model for more chooks. Wink

I was just thinking that Deb. I think you need a bigger one Jooles. Can you ask your friend to make it the penthouse version?

I know! It's not the biggest chook house is it, but the confines of our garden are such that I don't think I could fit a bigger one in. On the other hand... maybe with a bit of re-organisation ... scratch

Perhaps, we'll start small, wean the OH onto chicken keeping gradually, and by this time next year .. who knows what we might have! Naughty

He keeps telling me he could build me a house, but I've waited so long that I gave up and bought one. Now I can challenge him to build a bigger, better one. how's that for planning!? Very Happy
