As you know, I joined a French forum, and saw this just now.
I said I'd copy it onto here and see what you guys think.

I have asked this person to weigh the eggs, because I'm sure I've heard of hen's laying pretty enormous eggs, well over 130g and they've come to no harm. In fact, I recall Neil (aka Double Yolker) had really big eggs.

What type of feed? Maybe if it is too rich in protien's the chicken's body would produce a larger egg to dispell the extra's?

| one of mine has laid loads of big eggs, and never had any problems, in fact the other day i got one that would pass a s a duck egg other than the colour, don't like the sound of the blood, could be a hemorrhage |
