Righto getting to the house build stage now and as soon as done can go round to george and pickup the 3 laydees.

However what would be a basic list of supplies to get going with. Not 'an every angle and scenario' type of list just the basics.

I will have:
House
Sawdust/chippings
Straw
Feeder doo da
Water doo da
Chicken feed

What else should I add for the first week or so's keeping.

I would like to keep it as organic as poss so any herbal tricks and preventatives like the cider vinagar trick would be the way to go. But what prevent/helps/cures what.

You sir are a gentleman.

I shall have my people call your people and arrange for staff to pop round tomorrow am.

Overwise I'll give yer a buzz in the mornin' and spin round in the motor.

Whichever suits.

Very Happy

LOL, no problem, I should be in most of the day (and I rarely leave the house in the morning anyway)

Don't let my people intimidate your people though, Wink Razz

Thats me sorted but still may be handy for the new people such as me to have a list of stuff needed.

I run old Lambretta's and Vespa's and in a manual I have there is a tools listwhich they split it up to basics to carry, best to carry, basic workshop and complete workshop, so on that theme maybe;

Basics (first few weeks)

Preffered

Complete

Natural / Chemical

Could sit well in Golden Nuggets.

There is a first aid list in the golden nuggets already.

Take a peek there at the helpful links...it will give you more ideas.

Then there is also a new chicken keepers thread there also. Wink
