thanks everyone working yesterday ,so today i'm going to cook dinner ,get some housework done and sit down and watch les miserables
with a glass of wine never seen it before
dusty how did you know i had saggy trousers ,
i got a beautiful shooting stick ,with a top made out of deer antler and a border collie carved on it ,from the family  |

i'll do that monday for you gilly c nonie has a handmade shepherds crook made for her by charlie barley for her 18th as well with her name carved on it ,the main peice of the handle is rams horn with the very end being Buffalo horn ,i'll take some of that as well  |

well here's the pics of the Shepard's crooks and the shooting stick, t top of the shooting stick is made from antler and the Shepard's in rams horn with Buffalo on the end. the Shepard's crook is hazel i think and the shooting stick is made from a heather stick.

Well how amazing is that? We have 2 walking sticks almost exactly the same as those!
They were made by a friend of a friend many years ago when me & OH did lots of walking & birdwatching BC. (Before Children) They are stuck in the loft collecting dust now, which is a shame. |
