i was seeing to the birds tonight when i was on my way out of the run i noticed my electric fence was down at one point so as i got closer i realised the posts were still up as were frozen in the ground but the net itself is torn in severeral places i was horrified thing is i took my energisers down the week before as was going to do some maintanance and did not get around to putting them back out so the fence was off my dog ran into the fence the other day and got caught up but never broke it and she is pretty big bigger than a fox and she went crazy until she could not move as was so entangled i was there for a good few minutes undoing it all so what on earth has broken my fence like this there is two huge gaping breaks in it would a fox of been capable of damaging it like this in a frenzy or could a badger or got caught in it as i now they are about?it looks like a pig could of caused it lol.
i now have to spend tomorrow repairing it in the cold and putting the energisers back up etc i am a bit annoyed as it is more work i could do withought right now |

| a badger is a very powerful animal indeed if they had wanted to get in they would have sounds very foxy to me get that fence powered up cause he will be back to check every night now one mistake and you will be looking for replacement fowl |
