I've just turned a charity shop curtain into 2 made-to-measure baby slings for the parents of a new baby. The cotton curtain was lined with cotton, so baby and washing machine friendly. I left the lining in place for a bit more warmth. Pair of curtains £3, so 2 slings from one curtain means 75p a sling, the site that had the pattern on it sells them from $43!
This is the pattern: http://www.mykarmababy.com/pages/BabySlingPattern.php |

That's great.
I'm a childminder, currently with a one year old and I will have one in the coming months that is going to born soon.
I'll get out my sewing machine and find some suitable fabric. I've got a cotton duvet cover that I've already used for some cushion covers - I think it'll be perfect. |

Thats really good.
Do you think it would be any good for a puppy
I used to make lots of cloths for my girls from old curtains. When Auntie Katie was about 15 she had a black and white jacket made from the old kitchen curtains and when my other daughter got married we made 8 bridesmaid dresses from curtain material |
