She's fine, thanks. She's been so good about it, hardly know there's anything wrong with her! Very Happy

Bless.

One of my cats jumped through a hedge a few years back and ripped all the skin/fur from her tail, from the base to halfway up.

Barbed wire should be banned.

Did the vet say whether he thought it was a bite? Some tom cats can be very nasty and need to be neutered as they can be violent even to females and some of the cat diseases FIV and FeLV are transmitted this way. We had one that was a holy terror and when my neighbour refused to get his pet neutered, (it was coming in through the cat flap and beating up all my cats regularly and all the neighbours cats), I got a trap, caught the cat and sent it to the vets for neutering.....I don't think my neighbour even noticed! Trouble is, it was suffering from FIV and three of my cats caught it from him!
