I have posted my new Speckeldy so here now is my new Marans Cuivrée! I hope you like her! She is called Georgina and the Speckeldy is called Priscilla!
Off to inspect the coop and hopefully have some lessons in egg laying!

Both were bought from Stamina at http://www.poultrypark.com/ |

Just to be correct....it is cuivrée with an 'i' in it. Cuivre is copper in French and Cuivré(e) is copper coloured (a feminine object has an extra e)
It is pronounced "Kwee-vray".
Lovely hens BTW!! |

Weird, because I Googled to be sure of the spelling!
Can't get the accent thingy anyway, only by copy/paste. |

Are these a different breed to copper marans like these?
And this is the colour of egg they produce (Not the coq ). It is with a weird shaped CLB egg.
