I would take him home myself but unfortunately the neighbours would complain and my dad has all ready said a big no! Sad

Good luck finding a nice home for him unfortunately I don't really know anyone else who keeps chickens.

Try http://www.birdtrader.co.uk/
Their you have the choice of selling or trading them you could also try the Poultry Mart: http://forums.thepoultrykeeper.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=7

Beegal helps to home unwanted poultry, you could try asking her?

are all the golden polish and black and white one cockerels can anyone confirm as i think they are all cockerels 3 of them are cock a doodle doing its the frizzle and smaller golden one that isnt as yet, cant believe out of 7 i have maybe 5 cockerels not good

beegal has offered to re home them for me which is such a relief and has said they have some banty pullets there i could look at as i will only have 2 polish left in a big run! do banty pullets mix well with my chamios polish girls as iv heard shouldnt mix, i would like a good laying chicken but been told cant mix with the polish?

any advice as to what i should have i only want 4 in total to be honest

is the golden polish 2nd to last a cockerel??????? she has 1 pointy tail feather compared to the other boys?

can u check and see which ones u think are boys

Iv only had them 2 weeks so havent had chance to fatten them up so they can cope with the cold as they have no body fat, they look so small bless, i have wormed them and been feeding as much as they want but the chamios look dreadful at the mo, i am giving them loads of tlc though
cheers

I don't know anything about the Polish breed but I would've thought you could mix them with other breeds. Confused
I can only think the problem may be with the Polish not being able to see where the others are but if you trim the feathers round their eyes that may solve it?

What breed of bantam does Beegal have?

Ive heard mixing Polishes with other breeds can possibly present a problem to the polish as apparently other breeds are attracted to their crests and like to peck at them however theirs this product by jhonsons called anti peck that could sort that out.

Would just like to add I have one Polish hen who lives with a silkie and a cross bred girl these three get along fine. The silkie is top hen and when out free ranging will call the Polish to her and they are never far apart. But in the run next to them I have had several different birds and they all seem to go for the Polish "hair" through the wire so if you do put other breeds with them I think you would just have to keep a close eye on them.
