I'm getting hens for Christmas from Spana and i'm worrying about my cat killing them, because he's real grumpy.
What should i do
Should i hold him out in front of the run so he gets used to them before they free range. |

I dont think you'll have too much trouble if i dont get you any thing too small, and hes not that big and strong is he, even if he is a bit grumpy
I should just leave them in their run for a little while so that he can see them and watch his reaction to them.
Tattie and Fluff Ball dont take any notice of mine even when they are smaller than the pigeons, they seem to know the difference |

The local cats around here seem to have given up on my girls. They would stalk the pen, (Then be chased off by our cat) |

| My cats are terrified on my chickens, especially Lily my feral cat. I often see Lily running down the garden at high speed and jumping into bushes closely followed my a chicken! |
