It is a nice height, they don't kick things in it and are happy as Larry drinking from it. I keep it in the run. I am now wondering if I should get a small one to put in the garden but they seem happy enough to take a break from their adventuring to return frequently to the drinker and feeder in the run. I also bought some ACV, so I put that in with the 10 litres. It stands on a concrete raised bit beside the steps, so is keeping pretty clean and lasting well.
