| is it okay to get flubenvet wet when getting the hens to eat it? the only way i can see to get it into my birds is to put it into the soaked pellets i give them daily as one can't eat them hard. i'd put one in the the run and one out and give them seperate dishes to ensure they both got what they should - one is a greedy so-and-so and would eat more than her share otherwise. they normally completely clean out the dish so i could be pretty sure on them getting the proper dose this way. if i can't do this does anyone have any other ideas? |

| That's probably the easiest way to dose them. It won't affect the efficacy of the Flubenvet. |

My vet said the only way to mix it in the pellets properly was to first mix the pellets with enough cod liver oil to make them shine, then add the flubenvet. Works a treat

but then the pellets wouldn't be soft so thats not going to work for me i suppose i could do that for one hen, and at least then one would be done properly. not a lot i can do with Elsie, shes getting on well with the wet stuff but still wont eat the pellets anywhere but off the ground.
as it is its going to be a while yet before they get anything. i ordered the flubenvet at the beginning of october and despite it being a 2 day delivery it hasn't arrived yet |

| i just phoned the company who announced that they need a prescription from the vet to send it (they didn't say this when i ordered or in the 20 days since then). ive cancelled the order because if i go to the vet i may as well get it from there! is there anywhere you can get it without a prescription or do i need to call the vet and see if they do chickens? |

great i'll order it from your link in the morning. they're consuming 3 times their normal feed and although i think (and hope) this is because now both hens are eating properly rather than just the one, i still want them wormed to eliminate that from my list of worries |
