| We have Buzzards and Red Kite here with the occasional Perigrin(sp?). My vet has just informed me that a local guy has just lost a few chickens to a Goshawk! We are quite open here but the chooks have a lambing shelter and a couple of old caravans (used a sheds) that they hide under whenever there are birds of prey around. I too would never hurt these beautiful creatures - they are a joy to watch - but i do worry about what they may do. |

I was only joking people. Have you every tried to hit a sparrow hawk with a stick?
Besides hunting sparrow hawks is a waste of time as fluffy kittens, baby rabbits and cute little puppies are far easier to hunt down and squish |
