well riley is coming along well ,kerri was plating his forlock yesterday ,talking to him all the time ,he is really nervous ,but at 16 months and a bad start it's going to take time,as he bonded with the last owner but it took a while , any tips ,as i'm not as confident as i once was Embarassed
or recomended books Wink ,he seems to have a problem with stepping on concrete so is going to be hell to get down to the feild
gizzy is really pleased with him ,and loves him to bits Cool

Has he got a problem with his foot/feet? I remember many years ago someone I knew had a similar situation with her pony's feet & turned out he had a foot infection - can't remember exactly what now....memory not as good as it used to be! Embarassed

riley is coming along really well
my oh has discovered he likes horses ,and riley has now ben out in the yard
he really is a mummies boy ,he doesn't seem to take any notice of the horses at the stables ,he just looks for gizzy ,she's going to try to walk him to the feild today Cool

giz here. we turned him completely los. lovely lovely lad.showed off his trot. wow!he's settled in and now is more than happy to lead out now and cross concect and no problems!

he's been groomed out. he was out yesterday but the weather was to bad today and there was movements over at the farm. he's been alittle stroppy, but hey he's 16 months what do i espect he is now 14hh. he was woken up at 6.30 this morning. not a morning man! bit like dad!
oh ideas on he's colour as he lays down every night and that is what the stain is so ideas on cheap ways to clean him up?

lol cheap ways to keep him clean !!, I always knew when summer arrived as my horse Bill had white places , he was more brown than white though so not as much of a problem !! He is lovely Riley I mean Wink lots of baths before you show him !!! Rolling Eyes
