has anyone got any ,i've got one last week it's been a while since i cooked with one and deb cooked with one for the first time last night ,sorry deb ,and when they were on sale 2 days ago i had to get another one  |

| with mine a beef stew takes about 20 mins at high and chicken portion 10-15 mins at high I have the recipe book somewhere that came with mine will try and look it out, I tend to use my slow cokker more nowadays though it is useful in the caravan ! |

| There is loads in the book from soups ,Veg,Fish Meat,Poultry,Cereals,Desserts, Preserves & Bottling ! How about I photocopy and post to you ? |

| I want to get a pressure cooker.... but haven't found one I can afford yet. Interested to hear how you all go with them though, cos everyone I talk to tries to talk me out of it! |

why were they trying to talk you out of it ,we got one for £39 pounds ,then the week after they were 19 but with discount ,17 ,it take half or less time on the gas or electric ,with the price of those it can save a lot
deb and i will share promise
shall i start
with lamb and leek pudding
filling
1 lb of cubed lamb
4 oz of leeks chopped
3\4 stock
2x5ml cornflour blended into a bit of water
salt and pepper
filling cook lamb and leeks seasoning and stock into cooker stir well and bring to full pressure cook for 15 minutes ,reslease stream slowly thicken with corn flour stirring constantly ,
suet pastry
6oz sr flour
shredded suet water pinch of salt ,make suet pastry ,line bowl with it fill with filling
cover with grease proof pastry
to cook
put in cooker add 1 pint boiling water with bit of lemon juice ,prestream 10 minutes turn up the heat cook 7 \10minutes release stream slowing and serve |

Try freecycle/cheapcycle. They often offer them round our way. Think some people try them and can't get on with them. |
