Very true...
I know the guy's got the actions, but I just don't think he's 'reaching the target' so to say.
Anyone got any rabbit Viagra... |

Hello,
I have never heard of people breeding rabbits for food in the UK but I do shoot them. I shot 55 in 3 hours a few months ago. It's difficult to give them away over here.
I was told a while back that there is a real rabbit problem in France with farmers claiming off their insurance for the crop damage.
There should be loads about it you can get hold of them.
What sort would you bread for food?

Have to fess up I think, we got so fed up waiting for our girls to catch that we decided to cull them and try again.
That's when we found that they're all bleeding male I know it's quite difficult to sex them when they're young, but this was taking the p$*s.
Anyway the dogs enjoyed their rabbit for dinner, there was enough for a couple of days feed off this one rabbit, it was a big boy believe me... |

Don't worry, it made me laugh as well (once I had stopped ranting), the thought of two rabbit guys going at it was too funny to be angry about.
Poor bugger must have been so frustrated that he'd have a go at anything that moved...!
No wonder the 'girl' didn't seem too pleased.

Well we now have two new girls, I of course read up a lot about sexing before buying these two and I think I'm fairly confident that they may be female (doesn't sound too confident though having had fingers burnt before!).
Once they're big enough we'll start the game again... |

Hello.
Here in Spain it's normal eatin rabbit. And I have had in the past. If the females are old and have never been caught by the male it's so dificult to be caught... You always have to put the female in the male cage. and he will try to caugth her inmediatly, if he caught her in seconds he will fall down of back. and you shoud take out the female or if you want leave her with the male one day, but be careful because some females if the stay with the male so long will geld him.
I hope you will understand or i will try to explain it better |
