Hi everybody...was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to offer some advice please.. I had 2 Ayesbury Ducklings they are 10 days old and have been doing really well, I woke up this morning to find one of them had died i the night. They have shown no signs of being poorly and had both been eating and drinking well.. I am realy confused as to why this has happened..and wondered if anyone could shed any light on it...Thanks Nikki

Poor you. I don't know anything about ducks I'm afraid. Hope you get an answer, it's horrible to just not know!

Were they under a heat lamp? Ducklings do get chilled very easily if they're not kept warm for the first few weeks til feathered up. Or the duckling could have eaten wood shavings/sawdust and bound itself up inside.
