i bough these day olds to go with a lonely chick i hatched suppose to be lavender araucanas
girl?

aged 7/8 weeks old |

I dont know if you can get bearded/non bearded, rosecomb/normal comb, crest/ no crest etc.. but they look nothing like the lavender araucanas i've seen!.. I had some eggs a few weeks ago from someone who's parent stock looked like the one in this link.. http://www.slack.co.uk/Suffolk2005/February/Pictures/d2cf5844.jpg
But i've never kept them, and only one of the chicks that hatched was from the lavender eggs and hes still about 5 days old.. i'm sure someone more experienced will come along soon!

| Bearing in mind that an araucana is muffed & crested, has no wattles, a small pea comb and willow to slate coloured legs, I would say they probably aren't. Pretty though. |

| I would say that an araucana cockerel may have visited one hen who was not araucana and you got an egg from her. The first picture shows a pullet which could be half araucana the rest don't look as though they have any araucana in them at all. |
