Hey - I like a challenge!!
Having looked at nannies for sale, prices are high compared to when I bought my goats. I was given the two boys as they were rolling their owners pygmys down the field ......well, just having a bit of fun, weren't they. |

i was going to say the same thing
my first goat here ,was alvida she came with a togg,we called her vd for short
she was pure old english ,she was 8 years old and had moved from home to home slowly up the country never staying in one home for more than 6 months from just outside portsmouth, didn't like humans very much ,we went to buy 2 toggs and she followed us around ,we were told she was off to the slaughter house as she was a real pain and a nightmare to keep/milk ,and the soon she went the better ,we brought her here, on the isle of lewis ,you see her in the pics with my daughter in the corner sometimes ,she was pain ,but followed my husband around and if he was mending the car and it was jacked up would wiggle underneath to see what he was doing ,she lost half her udder when it sheared off after a nick ,when we had the huge storm a few years ago she spent the night in the bathroom as the front and roof ended up being blown off and over the hill on the moors , may is her granddaughter ,it was a sad day when she died
nonie said to me the other day ,her lecturer said you don't make life easy for yourself otherwise you wouldn't like goats
i'm sure that you'll enjoy her now |

she'll be coming as soon as i can sort out pens so will be a week
then i'll post some pics ,to be honest a bit disappointed about it as it changes all my plans for next year and makes things awkward although ,feed costs were also mentioned ,it's not horrendous and we can get around things |
