I have been trying to locate gold brahma hatching eggs in the southern part of the uk for sylvia and nanny p, both sylvia and i have tried several leads to no avail, is this lovely breed being put on the back burner The few i have found either has 1 pair left with the hen broody (he is getting rid of all his lf due to the feed costs going up so much) and the other person os running all her brahmas together, It seems that the gold is being taken over by other colours, i didnt realise how hard it would be to get hold of them! i have even checked the salisbury catalogue...... not 1 single brahma hatching egg, can you believe it! One lot is L/F (?) - sorry not used to the terminology yet lol - and the other lot is the bantamized version. There is a Brahma Club. Mrs Sue Black 01792 898310. She may be able to give you a list of breeders in the area.
