Hi there, Made my first, and very successful quiche the other day. I love it but feel very bad and can't afford to eat the cream that goes into it. Does anyone use anything as a substitute for cream? Though of low fat greek yoghurt maybe?

I make loads of quiches and have never used cream I do not make the custardy sort but real solid eggy ones just putting in a little milk to loosen the egg mixture as in scrambled egg, bake the quiche on a heavy baking sheet which you pre heat will save baking the case blind and give a good result ! Wink

I second Gilly and add that yes you can use yogurt and it's very good too.

same here Very Happy very rarely use cream, like said b gilly just add a bit of milk Very Happy

Grand, thanks guys. I'll try a few variations. They are sooo nice but I'll be humungous if I eat all that cream.
