Hi, I am pretty sure I have got 2 of them, I got them from cyril bason's in shropshire. They are as friendly as anything and they are pretty reliable layers. I didn't know they were lohmans as they were just called brown layers when I got them, I happened to be talking to a friend who has 4 and she said that it what it said on her invoice.

They are in with my other 2 pure breeds that I got from the wernlas collection and they all get on fairly well. they seem to be pretty good foragers and will happily grub around in the bark that they have in the pen with them.

I would definetely have some more again, they are soft enough to take corn from your hand but will happily give the dog a peck if she ventures too close.

Cheers

Ben

Hi Ben thanks for the reply, my 3 girls are friendly too and all lay eggs everyday. I would recommend them. Just curious as to where they originate from. I googled the name when I got them but didn't really get anything. I have also heard of Lowman browns but I don't know how these differ.

Thanks Smile
