Our little small holding is getting bigger.
We got 12 geese last night making it a total of 16, they're a bit scraggy as the last owner didn't take very good care of them.
We've now got 12 Embdens all about a year old, 4 ganders and 8 females.
1 american buff, she's so sweet.
1 Chinese gander, he's beautiful and has decided to pair with one of the female embdens.
And 2 pilgrim geese who are a breeding pair.
I'm getting a trio blue/splash silkies in a few weeks, we have seveal hybrid chickens, a soay ram, dogs, cats and my brothers.
I'm really getting in to this lark. I'll post some pictures eventually.

| Sounds wonderful! I love geese and used to keep Brecon Buff. Just be a little vigilant when you let your chickens range with the geese as I have had chickens badly mauled by geese. |

Thats what happens - you start off small, and things just grow and grow. Take me for example, or perhaps not, no one is as mad as me when it comes to animals!!
I have 8 horses, with hopefully two foals due next year. Two goats, 8 dogs, 10 cats, 12 chickens, 4 rabbits, a gerbil, and a Llama. Funny enough I was looking at an ad for a goose and a gander for sale and wondering if I could have them. Also would love a donkey!! |
