I am writing myself a mental note that I sat my broody on duck eggs today. Now....I need to remember to sneak a couple of chook eggs under her in 7 days. Hmmmmm, anyone care to help remind me on the third? Which means that hatch date will be Sept. 24ish? Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have. I really didn't want chicks right now as we are coming into winter soon and they would end up being locked up in the main coop all day with the big birds in bad weather. Just heard them talking about our winter to come on the radio yesterday. Could be one of the worst ones...100 year floods etc. They said conditions were right. Oh goody, anyone have a boat?
