Could you even out number of eggs between the broodies (after dark)?
Then I would leave all alone as broody hens are pretty good at their job

Well I've just done a loo roll and lamp job (great suggestion!!!). All the Buff Sussex are clear. So that's sorted one problem in that one of my broodys is off duty tomorrow no doubt she wont be pleased.
I did four of the darker eggs and one was clear one had a definite dark shadow on one side. So I'm crossing my fingers the other two are just too dark and no light seems to pass through so I'll have to wait and see. |
