I have a small bantam sitting on duck eggs in the nest box in the duck house.
Residents are 2 ducks and 1 drake. Should I move her now (she has been there 2 weeks now ) or wait till the ducklings hatch? She is very defensive and the ducks are leaving her alone at the moment in fact they are laying as far away as possible
I do have a spare ark at the moment but don't want to stop her sitting. She hatched last August. |

| I'd agree with JustChickens. Move her at dusk. If 2 of you can do the move, so much the better, one holding the banty whilst the other moves the eggs to the new "nest", then pop her back with the eggs. Shouldn't be a problem. |
