I'm poorly Crying or Very sad . Had a visit this weekend from son, daughter-in-law and grandson, grandson started being sick so they went home early - but left the bug behind!!!!! I started during the morning yesterday - and am still backwards and forwards to the loo and feel like death warmed up - hubby started last night and is still in bed! Sometimes, as much as i love them, i could do without having chooks, sheep, a cat and dogs - feeding them is taking twice as long as I have to keep dashing off. All say ahhh!

Oh, poor you Chris! Sad Hope you feel better soon. Wink

How typical of a man though - to stay in bed when they're ill even though you're ill too! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Poor thing Chris! Try to get plenty of rest though, you'll just be sick for longer if you push yourself.
Take care!

I seem to catch bugs from my Grandchildren too, Coca cola with a little sugar in to take out the fizz is brilliant for stomach upsets, I hate coke but will drink it for this, has to be a quality one, my sister's BIL is a gut doctor he says it kills all bugs know to man !

OH is up and about whilst the "bug" is still doing it's worst with me. Only got diet coke - will that do? If not will send himself to the shop ASAP. Feeling sorry for myself except I've lost 1/2 a stone in 48 hours - not a pleasant way i admit but at least it's some compensation!

worth a try with the diet but it was always emphasised to use quality stuff so I have stuck to original and seems as though Pat has too, it really does work !

Hope you feel better today, Chris. I'm in bed with something similar. I seem to catch every bug my kids get, only worse! I'm sure work think I'm taking the p*ss! Such a waste of a beautiful day too....

Coca cola and Imodium seem to have done the trick although I'm feeling fairly washed out. OH decided he felt well enough to eat last night and is feeling off again this am - I have managed 2 scrambled bantam eggs and they have stayed put Very Happy . Hope you feel better soon EGirl - we don't get to see our grandchildren very often as they live quite a long way from us (granddaughters near London and Grandson at Taunton) so, although it left this legacy, I was really pleased to see him.

I hate the stuff too, never thought about it for stomach upsets - though it makes sense, it's caustic stuff! I wouldn't think much would survive it!
