I put this rather large nest box up about a week and a half ago and for the first time yesterday my cockatiels started going in staying in since yesterday they only pop their heads out if they here something too close to the aviary. If they have got eggs they will be first time parents ^^
Ive notticed an odd behaviour from my male cockatiel he keeps banging his bis beak against perches and teh nest box a lot like woody wood pecker and produces a simlar sound and whistles contently to himself for ages has anyone else seen this behaviour in their cockatiels? |
