Well it is day 25 and not more chicks have arrived Crying or Very sad
I removed the final eggs at lunchtime and did a "post mortem"
The first one had got to about 15 days, by my guess and had died Crying or Very sad

The second one.. was just awful.
It looked "full term" and was not dead. I'm totally gutted.
Everything I had read says "discard on day 25" but this was sooo close.
I have a homemade incy so could it just have been a tad too cool and delayed the process?
I've put the others back as "there may still be hope" - is this right?
I'm not sure I can do a port mortem again as the others looked very promising and don't fancy killing another one.
What should I do?

cheers
Danny

Yes, leave them, no harm will come to them, and you may be lucky and have some live hatches.

You could try placing them in warm water - live eggs MAY bob around.
