My three week old chicks have been fed on chick crumb which was supplied with the eggs (Living Eggs Program in school). My friend said not to buy any more food as she had half a sack left over. However I now see the food is layers mash and not specifically designed for chicks. Will they be OK on this for a day or two until I can get more chick crumbs?
