Mine found the bean trench that I had just put spent gro-bags in. It was there first dust bath and they absolutely loved it. (was going to add pic but don't know how!)

I'm sure I've read somewhere else on this site that wood ash is fine, but coal ash isn't?

with all the dry weather we've had up here in Scotland mine have dug their own, but earlier in March I had to take pity on them after weeks of rain and snow. I got a broken wheel barrow and put the barrow bit in a mini greenhouse that had seen better days.

I put a mix of sand and fullers earth in there and they used it alot.

But only when there isn't anywhere else.

Mine have a few places around the garden for different parts of the day. They move around with the sun on good daysa, dust bathing and sun bathing at the same time. 2 Fave spots are under the Hedge and under the bushes lol Nice Dry places. Spider stands guard while the girls roll around lol
