Hiya
Hens can carry on laying eggs for most of their life, however, the number of eggs laid would fall dramatically as she gets older, so if she's laying 5 eggs a week at 2 years, she might just lay 1 egg a week by the time she is 4 years old.
Hens can live to 8 - 10 years depending on the breed |

| Our oldest is just over 3 - that's how long since we hatched our first chicks! However it is one of only 3 left from our original 8 hens. |
